¹³ You, too, have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed in the Messiah,^[a] you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, ¹⁴ who is the guarantee of our inheritance until God redeems his own possession^[b] for his praise and glory.
